NGL, I was pretty stoked when I saw there was a Spa session in the itinerary. Our treatment at @divanathailand was very much needed after the long hours in the coach and many room inspections. The award-winning Divana group has 5 specialized branches around Bangkok offering treatments. We visited the Divana Nurture Spa and got to experience their Thai Boran Message, which is supposed to relieve aching muscles, reduce joint pain and various other benefits. An appreciation post. Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to travel again recently to one of my favorite destination, Thailand. I’m blessed to be traveling with a group of fun people, some I have traveled before with and some for the first time. We got along super well and there was not a dull moment as we zip around from one location to another. It was a working trip, but we had fun nonetheless despite the packed itinerary. My utmost thanks to @richardlim.tat & @tourismthailand for the invite. To Pinky (who is like my Thai mom now) Khàawp Khun Ka for taking good care of us all the way. Everything was arranged on-point and she made sure we had the best food everytime. I definitely came back a few kilos heavy from the trip, luggage and body weight wise. It’s been 8 years since I haven’t seen her, but at over 60 years old, she is as vibrant as ever. To everyone who represented @alhijrah.brunei @straitscentral_agencies @anthony_tours @freme_holidays @southerncross.bn & @seehuadailynews, it was a pleasure to be in your company, hopefully we’ll have a chance to collaborate in the near future 😁 To my SocMed buddies @ranoadidas and @ozozodoes, catch you guys soon again, hopefully more travels to other destinations. The Dinosaur Valley at @nongnoochgardens_official really blew my mind to the jurrasic era and made me feel like a kid again! Everything was really well done and almost life-like. Apparently there’s over 40 species and from I can, definitely more than a hundred of them. The area itself is about 500 acres and is mostly occupied by the gardens. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful garden in the region. There’s really so many things to see in one day. They even have a car museum that has some of the rarest vehicles in the world. If you really want to cover it all, you can stay in one of their hotels which is in the garden itself. I’m told they have about 3000 workers, which really makes sense. We also met with the owner, a really humble guy who goes to work daily in his t-shirt and dirty boots, hug respect! When I travel, staying close to the shopping malls and makan places is pretty essential. If your priorities are the same like mine, then @mercurekkcc would be the place to stay when you’re in Kota Kinabalu. Located near the Jesselton Point, it is only a few minutes walk to Suria Sabah and Jesselton Mall. Also nearby is Gaya Street and Jalan Dewan, where you’ll find many oldskool and chic eateries. My first stay at Mercure KKCC was in their Superior room with a view of the city and ocean. The room is nicely spacious and equipped with all the standard amenities. Yes, that essential hose is there. As it was my birthday, they even did a nice greeting deco and gave me a chocolate cake. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, especially with my parking coupon. The hotel doesn’t have free parking, so you will need to buy parking coupons, if you’re driving to KK of course. Their 25th floor with a rooftop infinity pool and restaurant is not to be missed. It’s a good spot for sunset viewing, but unlucky for me the last two evenings in KK was a wet one. They serve a number set meals to choose from. I didn’t get to check out the gym and main dining hall, so go check their website for that.
